Krissie Francis Photo

Krissie took our wedding photos and I melt every time I walk by one in our home or see one pop up on Facebook. She's extremely professional, while at the same time makes an effort to get to know you. Her work is some of the best I've ever seen and I couldn't be more thankful and relieved that we chose her to do our pictures as she certainly captured every tiny detail of our day. Hire her, you won't regret it! -Sarah S.

So incredibly grateful to have had Krissie capture our special day. She was super flexible, a calm & chill presence, and easy to work with, yet gave good direction. Her photos also happen to be amazing. She has a beautiful vision, while also letting the day unfold organically. -Jo H.

Krissie is an incredibly talented photographer and genuinely kind person. She was able to accommodate our very flexible schedule, was willing to travel to multiple locations and easily got along with everyone including our dogs! We feel that she did a wonderful job capturing spontaneous moments, as well as helping direct our couples photos. We highly recommend her to anyone! -Christine L.

Where do I even begin? Should I start with saying how comfortable we felt in front of the camera or how amazing her product is? As a fellow photographer, I am amazed by Krissie's talent as well as her professionalism and personable charm. Krissie exceeded every expectation we had for both our engagement and wedding photos. I recommend her to everyone I know that's in need of photos. She's kind, she's rad, she's got the coolest pink hair, and she is one in a million. -Jerica A.

Your wedding day is going to be filled with so many moments that you don’t want to forget. But more than likely, you want to be soaking in those moments with your friends and your family, not worried about a thing -- and definitely not worried about who’s there photographing it all! That’s where I come in. I’m like a magical invisible unicorn that takes all those photos so that you can relive those moments again and again throughout the years to come.

I use the word “investment” because that’s what I truly believe I have to offer you! My services are an investment. I understand that weddings are pricey (trust me, I do, since I’m married, too!), but I want you to think past the wedding day. What will still be there after you’ve taken out the 15869879 bobby pins, after all cray cray dancing is over, and after you’ve put your wedding dress away in the closet? The photos. The memories that are frozen in time for you and your love to cherish. The moments that make you cry when you remember them or the photos of your crazy friend at the reception that you make you laugh so hard your sides hurt. Dope photos of the two of you in your wedding getup to show to your grandkids and say “Wow, look how freaking amazing we looked on our wedding day?”. THAT’s what you’re investing in. This is what you have left after your wedding day! And that’s why I feel like it’s so important to prioritize wedding photography in your wedding budget.

Good photography isn’t cheap; but cheap photography isn’t good.

Pro tip: if you’re ballin’ on a budget and want amazing photos, but just can’t seem to make it happen, try looking at dates in November through April. Those are the slower months in the wedding industry and could really help you out with making all those dreams happen for your wedding day!

If you feel that warm, fuzzy feeling in your chest, if my photos make you want to curl up with a cup of tea and sit inside them, then that’s it, baby. Let’s do this! Reach out and we’ll hop on a phone call and figure out what your wedding day needs are.

the fun stuff

the fun stuff

Do you travel?

Why yes, in fact I do! I’m based out of Olympia, Washington. But I actually shoot most of my weddings in the greater Seattle area. And I always love a good adventure that involves flying and seeing new places!

Do you have a second shooter?

This is totally dependent on what your needs for you wedding day are! I adore my second shooters and always find it helpful to have one come with me while shooting. But if you have a smaller wedding with fewer guests and you don’t need as much coverage, then it’s definitely not necessary. This is something we will talk about when you first inquire, so I can know what you do and don’t need!

How many images do we get?

I always like to tell my clients that I have no reason whatsoever to keep good images from you. So that being said, I will deliver at the very very least 700 photos for a full day (8 hours) of wedding photography. But I tend to average between 900-1100 photos. If it’s a good moment, if the photo is clear and not blurry, then I want you to have it. I want you to remember the full experience of the day, and not just little highlights.

When will we see our photos after the wedding?

I will send you a preview of your wedding within a week of your big day so you can get excited for the rest! And also so you can share with all your friends and family on social media :) And then the rest will be in your inbox within 4-8 weeks.

How will we get them?

I use a really awesome online gallery to deliver the images in jpeg format (don’t worry, they’ll be a solid high resolution). You’ll get a code to be able to download them right then and there onto your computer or your phone. And you also can share that gallery link with your grandma or your besties!

Do you have backup gear?

I most certainly do. I always shoot with two camera bodies and bring a ton of other gear. And speaking of backup, once I get home from your wedding, I backup alllllll of the photos onto multiple hard drives, so they’re tucked in all safe and sound.

Do you charge sales tax?

Unfortunately, I do. If you are a client that is in Washington state, I have to charge sales tax on your package, otherwise the Dept of Revenue won’t be too happy with me. Womp womp.

How do we book you?

Ooh, yes please! My process is pretty easy! Once we’ve confirmed that we’re a match made in heaven, I will send you a contract that you and I both sign online. Then the deposit (which is 50% of your total balance) is due within 2 weeks of a contract being signed. The rest of the total isn’t due until 30 days prior to your wedding.

Do you like Diet Dr. Pepper?

Um, yes. I really do.
